How to Stop Startup Program on Mac
After the Mac boots up and the user logs in, the program that automatically starts is likely to be a utility for user convenience or a program that needs to run in the background.
Furthermore, when you install a program, it is automatically registered as a startup program, and in some cases, it may be hidden and displayed as an icon in the menu bar when the system starts.
If there are too many startup programs, it can temporarily slow down the login process, especially on MacBook models with limited memory capacity. However, in macOS, you can add or remove registered startup programs using the following method.
Login Items Settings
Click on the

in the settings menu.
Remove Startup Programs
The apps displayed here are the ones that run when your Mac starts up. Having too many startup programs can slow down the booting process.
To remove an app from the startup programs, select it and click the -
button below to exclude it from the startup process.
If there are apps that need to launch immediately when using your Mac, you can add them by clicking the “+” button.
